Cancellation and Refund Policy
Last updated: January 10, 2026
At harshilkhimasia.com, we strive to maintain transparency and fairness in all our project dealings. This policy outlines the terms regarding cancellations and refunds for our web development services.
Project Payment Structure
- A 25% advance payment is required before starting any project.
GST @18% is applicable on the advance amount.
This amount is based on the total estimated professional fees
discussed and agreed upon with the client.
- The remaining 75%
(along with any additional costs due to extra features or
pages requested by the client, plus GST)
is to be paid upon project completion, once the client confirms
everything is satisfactory.
- After receipt of full invoice payment, the complete source
code and digital assets are handed over to the client.
Cancellation Policy
- Clients may cancel the project within 72 hours of making the
advance payment. In such cases, a full refund of the advance
(excluding GST, if already deposited with the government) will
be processed.
- After 72 hours of advance payment, the advance is
non-refundable due to resource and time allocation.
- If a client wishes to discontinue the project after work has
commenced, no refunds will be issued for completed work.
Cancellation by Service Provider
- We reserve the right to cancel a project under the following
circumstances:
- Extended unresponsiveness from the
client (e.g., no replies for more than 10 business days despite
follow-ups).
- Repeated scope changes without mutual
agreement or attempts to add significant unquoted work.
- Unreasonable demands,
non-collaborative behavior, or actions that make it difficult to
proceed professionally.
- Unforeseen personal or technical
circumstances on our end that prevent us from completing the
project.
- If cancellation occurs before significant work has been
completed, a full refund of the advance
(excluding GST, if already deposited with the
government)
will be issued.
- If partial work has been completed:
- The client may choose to
accept the partial work, in which case we will
charge only for the completed portion and refund the remaining
amount. All related files and assets will be handed over.
- Alternatively, the client may
decline the partial work and receive a full
refund, with no assets transferred.
- All decisions regarding refund and asset delivery will be made
transparently and fairly.
- Where possible, we will suggest alternative professionals to
help the client continue the project.
Refund Policy After Project Delivery
- Upon final delivery, the client is provided a
30-day post-delivery review period to test and
validate the website/web application against the originally
agreed project scope.
- During this review period, any issues related to the original
scope will be resolved free of charge through
technical support and fixes.
- If, within this 30-day review period, the delivered
website/web application does not function as per the agreed
scope and the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable
timeframe, a
full refund of professional fees may be
issued.
GST will not be refunded if it has already been deposited
with the government.
- After the 30-day review period, the project will be considered
accepted and completed. No refunds will be
applicable beyond this period. We are not responsible for issues
arising due to third-party changes, platform updates, hosting or
infrastructure modifications, or alterations made by the client
or other developers. Any support required after this period will
be treated as a separate paid engagement unless otherwise agreed
in writing.
